Workshops

Workshops at Wild Light are an extension of the same values that guide everything here — a belief in the power of understanding, connection, and showing up for the people in our care. Offered in a relaxed and welcoming space, each workshop is designed to open a conversation, introduce new perspectives, and offer practical insights you can carry into everyday life. No pressure, no perfection expected — just a safe place to learn and grow alongside others on a similar path.

Upcoming Workshop

Grounded Together:
Understanding your nervous system
so you can support theirs

A supportive conversation, in good company,
for caregivers at every stage.

Saturday June 6, 2026
2pm - 4pm

Cost: $40
Location: Maha, Agnes Water

Details:

Parenting is deeply relational, and the connection between a caregiver's nervous system and a child's is more powerful than most of us realise.

This introductory workshop offers a relaxed, welcoming space to explore that connection, understand what's happening in your own body during those big parenting moments, and discover how small shifts in self-awareness can ripple outward to the little (or big) ones in your care.

Come as you are, and leave with a new lens on one of the most important relationships in your life.

Is this for me?:

The workshop is for parents or caregivers with children of all ages. We’ll be talking through those times where parenting gets draining, or even triggering. Whether you're curious, exhausted, or simply looking for a little more understanding, this workshop meets you exactly where you are.

What to bring:

The workshop will be centred around conversation, and there might be moments of reflection or knowledge that you want to record. A workbook will be provided to capture the practical tips and information but you may want to bring a notebook, tablet or laptop. Whatever works for you.

Cost and payment:

Payment will be required at time of booking. A full refund will be applied if you cancel before 48 hours of workshop. After this time, no refund will be provided.
